Levis
Have you ever noticed that
the older you become, the higher the number on your Levi's label?
I remember wearing a junior
size five, 501 button fly Levi's just a few short years ago. My how time flies -- it was back in 1988. They were a great match with my new cowboy boots. Now I'm up to style 551's, the size is an even size that is really immaterial, the boots bit the dust eons ago and I now buy in the "women's" department.
Need I say more?
Now, I don't know if all
of the ladies are aware of this fact, but if you're willing to pay just
a tad more for your Levi's and go to places like Dillard's or Robinson's
(nicer department stores in Phoenix, AZ), you'll find out the sizes run smaller for you than the other reasonably priced department stores ... and you guessed it ... I bought mine at Robinson's, of course!
Time rearranges
things.
They say your body goes
through a complete change every seven years. I was overdue for jeans last
year again, so what they say apparently holds true! I hate to think what
I'll look like in another 7 years. But, if time holds true then I will
be one big mama! Hmmmm, certain changes might make me a bit proud!
I can't
wait!!! Now I've got the seven year itch!!
